The jail located at the Whitefish Police Department is a temporary holding facility only. Anyone arrested in the City of Whitefish who is not bonded out or released on his/her own recognizance will be transported to the Flathead County Detention Center. Each morning the detention center releases a roster containing the names of those housed in the facility.
