As stated in the City Code Section 9-1-4, effective January 1, 2015, all fire/security systems are to be registered with the City. A one-time fee of $25 will be charged for each new alarm installed after January 1, 2015.

Alarm System Installation / Monitoring Company Registration
City Code Section 9-1-4 requires all alarm system companies to register and pay an alarm system license fee to the City prior to the installation and/or maintenance of an alarm system in the City. In addition, a current city business registration, City Code Sections 3-1-3, must be on file with the City Clerk prior to an alarm license approval by the City Fire Marshal.
