Building Permit Information & Applications

We are still performing inspections on all permitted building projects!

City Hall is now open to the public. However, you will be required to do a self-assessment and wear a mask prior to entering the building. Contact us should you have any questions.

The Whitefish Building Department serves the public by creating partnerships with citizens and the developer, contractor, and business communities to accomplish mutually beneficial goals such as the safe, timely, and successful completion of projects. Rather than having an enforcement orientation, the department focuses on education, and strives to maintain a customer-service driven, problem solving orientation for the plan review, permitting, and inspection functions.
