The Whitefish Fire Department has provided quality emergency response services to the Whitefish community for over 105 years. Providing services such as structural and wildland firefighting operations, emergency medical services, hazardous materials response, technical rescue services, community fire and life safety education, as well as fire code enforcement to those living, working and traveling through Whitefish. These services are provided from 2 strategically-located fire stations by a highly trained staff of 15 career and 30 paid-on-call firefighter/emergency medical technicians.

Contact InformationThe Administrative Division manages the overall operations of the Fire Department. The Division includes the Fire Chief and other assigned support staff. The Chief also responds to local and mutual aids calls to provide command support during emergency operations.
